‘Jonmodin (Birthday)’ is a short film by Sudip Chatterjee. It was the first time I worked in an industry environment as part of the directorial team. This project marked the beginning of my collaboration with Sudip Chatterjee, and our journey continues with several upcoming ventures.

Ghumjeeling

‘Ghumjeeling,’ directed by Anirban Dutta, was my second collaboration with him and my first feature-length documentary. This film follows the story of Martin, an aging artist seeking new meaning in life, and explores his journey through the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. It combines elements of reality and fantasy, revealing the profound connection between art and life. Our collaborative journey on ‘Ghumjeeling’ has been a pivotal experience in my career, enhancing my confidence and skills as a documentary editor.

‘Beejankur (Seedlings)’ is the first film where I found my future vision about doing film editing. That is why it marks Milestone 1 for me. Beejankur was officially made available to the public on YouTube in 2023. The film was acclaimed at many film festivals and is considered an important work by filmmaker Debraj Naiya.
